What is Riftur, exactly?

Riftur is an automated gap analysis and compliance review platform. It uses AI models to compare your documents—like proposals, audit responses, or assignments—against any set of requirements, rubrics, or criteria. Then it highlights what’s missing, what’s met, and where each item shows up in your content.

What kinds of documents can I analyze?

You can upload most standard text-based documents including proposals, compliance checklists, white papers, student papers, SOPs, and more. Input documents must be in Microsoft Word (DOCX) or PDF format. Riftur works best when you also provide the requirements or rubric you'd like to evaluate against (such as a government RFP section, grading rubric, or audit criteria).

Does Riftur replace human reviewers?

Riftur is designed to augment, not replace, human judgment. Think of it as a structured and automated check of input documents against known requirements. It catches what’s missing early, so your team can focus on strategy and polish, not hunting for checklist gaps.

Can I use Riftur for government proposals?

Yes. That’s one of its strongest use cases. Riftur is built with government contractors in mind and is especially helpful for pre-submission compliance reviews against RFP or other contract type requirements. However, we do not support the processing of documents containing Controlled Unclassified Information or other levels of classified data (e.g., Secret, Top-Secret). If you require this capability, contact us to discuss our on-premises offering, which may be better suited to your use case.

How accurate is Riftur’s analysis?

Riftur doesn’t rely on keyword matching—it reads in context. It uses advanced AI models to understand your content the way a human reviewer would, offering precision and explainability for each prediction. Just like with any AI tool, Riftur can make mistakes. Human review is still important for final compliance checks.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Riftur uses secure file handling and encryption in transit to ensure your documents remain private. We do not use your data for model training. However, we do use third party vendors for LLM inference, meaning they will process your data with their services, then delete it after processing.

Can I track improvements over time?

Absolutely. Riftur supports versioning so you can see how revisions improve your overall compliance with the target criteria—and what still needs work.

How do I delete my account?

Visit the Contact Us page to submit an email to us. Include 'Account Deletion' in the subject line of your message. We will begin the deletion procedures once requested and notify you once your account is fully deleted.
